Since 11.06.21 the company is certified according to ISO 45001.
This standard replaces the OHSAS 18001 standard and is considered the new occupational health and safety management system.
It considers the aspects of occupational safety both in the operational processes and in the working conditions and environments in the company.
This is a further gain for the safety of our employees.

Our new butt welding machine

With our new butt welding machine for wires from 0.2 to 0.7 mm diameter, it is now possible to produce virtually endless braids even for large nominal diameter.

The individual wires of two rolls can be connected to each other in the braiding machine by the butt welding method. The individual lengths of the braids are no longer dependent of limited filling of the wire rolls.

MITS European Supplier Day 2017 / Supplier Excellence Award

Mahle Industrial Thermal Systems GmbH & Co. KG (www.mahle.com) is a market-leader in rail vehicle construction and has been one of the Rattay Group's most important customers for years.

On the occasion of the MITS European Supplier Day 2017, more than 300 suppliers throughout Europe were evaluated, from which the 50 best were nominated for the Supplier Excellence Award.

In the end, Rattay Metallschlauch- und Kompensatorentechnik GmbH won the Supplier Excellence Award as the best supplier in Europe with a result of 93.9%.

Mr. D. Stumpf  represented the company in accepting the award from the managing director of MITS and Mahle's head of procurement.

New location in France

Since 01/05/2017, SFZ S.A.S., based in Lyon, belongs to the Rattay Group. In SFZ the Group now also has a well-known specialist for compensators, which are used on LNG tankers, in the petrochemical industry and in the power-generation sector, amongst others. In addition to the European markets supplied by our locations in Denmark, England, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria, we are now significantly better represented by SFZ not only in France, but also in North Africa and Asia in particular.

Since July of this year Mrs. Karin Pech has been working in our purchase department.  She has completed their training as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk at our company a few years ago. We are pleased to be able to tell you that she has now returned to the Rattay Group. Mrs. Pech is available at extension -75.

We are pleased to be able to inform you that Mr. Michael Leppen, who started his apprenticeship as an industrial business management assistant in the summer of 2013, successfully passed his examination in June with the top mark of “Excellent”. In the future we will be able to count on his support in the internal sales team for stainless steel corrugated hoses. As previously, you can reach Mr. Leppen at extension -25.

The final alterations have been completed

Following major renovations and alterations, our new fittings warehouse in Hünxe was completed in March 2016. This reconstruction will facilitate storing and retrieving our products faster and with fewer complications.
